Isabel Evans, played by Katherine Heigl is one of the main heroines of the show. Sister to Max Evans, Isabelle lives at home with her parents Diane and Phillip Evans and of course her brother Max. Her character can be often confusing as she both a private and a public face, at school, she easily falls into the 'popular' crowd and has adapted greatly to her environment. She is the type of girl that every guy wants to date and every girl wants to be. She can often appear to be snobbish and cold, but in private she shows unbelievable affection her family and Michael. She is a loving individual and always acts like a mother figure, always willing to help others out when required. Isabel satisfied with her life in Roswell and hardly thought about her true origins until the events that happened at the Crashdown, from then onwards she has felt that her life has been disrupted and she in many ways blames Liz for this disruption. There might also be an air of jealously towards Liz, as she feels that Liz has taken her brother away from her, whom she is very protective over. In season one, Isabel had to deal with change and accepting her true origins. Towards the end of the season, she became more and more comfortable with who she was and seeing her mother in the Destiny Episode helped her establish who she actually is. But, now in Season two, Liz faces another challenge, again trying to establish her past history and coming to terms with other aspects of her character. The question is; how will she cope with all the
