The pilot episode of Roswell aired on the 10.06.99 in the United States. Liz Parker was a normal teenager living a normal life in Roswell, New Mexico, until her life got turned around by the unusual events the occurred on what seemed to be a perfectly normal day. The day was going as usual until she got shot by gunmen in her parents diner, the Crashdown. Close to death, Liz was about to give up on living until she was miraculously healed by the hands of Max Evans. Fron that moment, Liz was exposed to a secret that Max had been keeping all his life, that he is in fact 'not of this earth' and neither is his sister Isabel or close friend Michael. The first season deals with the revelation of this secret and the groups attempts to stop it from becoming public knowledge.
